Triad Invite Results

The boys track team competed at the Triad Invitational on Saturday.  The boys had their most successful showing at the event to date.  Eleven different boys came home with medals, and overall the boys placed in 7 team scoring spots.  Even more impressive was the scope of competition the meet was held in.  Pleasant Plains (enrollment 423) competed and ran well against a field consisting of Alton (2009), Belleville West, (2154), Highland (901), East St. Louis (1289), Triad (1101), and Mascutah (1060) among others.  Impressively, Edwardsville and East St. Louis went 1-2 in 3A state last year in the team standings.  Given the amount of competition, it was amazing that everyone performed as well as they did.  Medal winners include:
