Boys Take 1st, Girls Take 3rd at the Jacksonville High Invite

The boys and girls started the 2012 season off in a strong fashion at Jacksonville.  The girls had a strong debut, tallying 49 total team points to bring home 3rd place.  The guys also started strong, tallying 90 total points to take home a team title.  Individual event winners include the girls 4x400 team of Morgan Demczak, Katie McGraw, Ashley Race, and Hannah Hergenrother and Megan Craven in the 55 hurdles.  On the guys side, individual event winners include George Wayda in the 55 hurdles and Josh Cornett in the triple jump.  Illinois Prep Top Times automatic qualifiers include Megan Craven in the 55 hurdles (9.28) for the girls and George Wayda in the 55 hurdles (8.01), high jump (6'1"), and pole vault (12'6") as well as Caleb Harney in the 55 hurdles (8.44).  Other results can be seen in either the top 10 times under the team information tab or on the schedule and results page.
