The boys competed in their third straight state meet and did an amazing job.  They finished in the top half of the field by achieving 11th place out of 25 teams.  That is a fantastic achievement.

In addition, Tyler Johnson joined an elite club of runners.  He is only the third runner in school history to achieve all-state status, placing 10th in a new PR of 15:15.  His 10th place finish was the highest ever by a Pleasant Plains male runner at the state meet.

Top 7 Times:

Johnson 15:15 (PR)

Plunkett 16:04 (PR)

Owens 16:20

Riddle 16:46 (season best)

Ely 16:48 (PR)

Bradley 17:13 (PR)

Verhulst 17:38

The boys did a fantastic job both at state and all year, and they should be very proud of themselves.  Making it this far is no small achievement!
